Pakistan White produced an impressive performance at the Hockey Nations Cup 2026 in Kazan, Russia, securing their first victory of the tournament with a 4-1 win over Belarus Under-21.
The Pakistani side came out with an attacking approach at the Kazan Field Hockey Centre and kept the pressure on their opponents. Abuzar, Yasir Khan, Saad and Taimur each scored once to complete a convincing victory for Pakistan.
Pakistan had earlier opened their campaign against the senior Belarus side. That match ended in a thrilling 4-4 draw, with Abuzar, Usman Ashraf, Saad and Yasir Khan finding the net for the national team.
Under the supervision of head coach and Olympian Kamran Ashraf, Pakistan will continue their Nations Cup campaign with three more matches. According to the schedule, they are set to face Belarus on August 30, Samarkand City on August 31, and Russia on September 1.
