Pakistan have suffered an injury setback during the second Test against England at Lord’s.
Opening batter Imam-ul-Haq picked up a problem in his left calf while fielding on the first day of the match. He underwent scans afterwards to determine the extent of the injury.
The medical tests have confirmed a low-grade calf strain. Imam is now under the care of the Pakistan team’s medical staff and is receiving treatment.
His availability for the rest of the Test has not been ruled out yet. According to sources, the decision will depend on his recovery and how he responds to the treatment over the coming hours.
